You may have noticed that summer’s doing its very best (albeit in fits and starts) to come through, so at the Who What Wear UK office, we’ve declared that it’s officially time to start wearing our summer wardrobes with gusto—holiday season is fast approaching after all, and we’ve all waited long enough, right? It also coincides with our month of celebrating and discovering global fashion hot spots. Cue a chock load of summer style inspo from Morocco’s top fashion bloggers.

Rich in culture, steeped in history and no stranger to warm weather, Morocco’s fashion pack has got chic summer style well and truly down. Fashion girls here know just how to blend mainstream designer trends (think Prada sandals and Jacquemus separates) with pieces that speak to their own signature styles. It’s more about dressing well for you and spinning looks your own way than it is about wowing the Insta crowd. Although, inevitably, these girls still do just that.

Style Notes: Oroma Elewa hails from Nigeria, has lived in New York and is now based in Marrakesh, so it’s little surprise that her wardrobe is a fantastic mix of chic basics and statement pieces. A performance artist and former editor of her own magazine, Pop’Africana (now closed), with a background in photography and design, Oroma is one to follow if you’re all about aesthetics with soul.

Style Notes: Love pretty prints and bold hues? Look no further than Yasmina Olfi for your summer style inspiration. The fashion blogger’s feed is a riot of separates in bold, juicy shades with a healthy dose of flowing maxi dresses like this Ralph Lauren number.

Style Notes: If you can’t wear a pair of statement trousers in the sunshine, when can you? While Yasmina’s fully committed to the orange in her print, a simple white tee is always a safe bet for the less adventurous.
