If You Hate Shopping For Jeans, This New High Street Drop Is Here to Help
Sponsor Content Created With Monki
Monki’s new denim campaign poses the question, ‘looking for the perfect match?’ Well, aren’t we all, always? Finding those elusive dream jeans is in my opinion about as hard a challenge as training for a half marathon. We know it’s doable, but it takes a lot of time, effort and hard work to get there. With a plethora of different styles and colours on the market these days, differing fits across brands, and at a time when hunkering down and trying on a hundred pairs in a fitting room isn’t an option, the whole thing can seem a little intimidating.
So, when a brand goes out of their way to help us in the search for great denim, we’re going to sit up and take notice. Enter Monki’s new spring drop and useful jeans guide. For a while we’ve known this under-the-radar high street brand had a strong denim offering, and it’s not unusual to hear industry insiders claim it as the source of their favourite pair. But since recently stepping up its sustainability game, and committing to eventually becoming a fully circular fashion brand, we now have confidence in the quality as well, and they’ve become a serious contender for some of the best affordable denim out there.
For SS21, as well as always using a blend of sustainably sourced organic and recycled cotton in their denim, and recycled materials for details such as zips and thread, Monki is introducing natural plant-based dyes to its conscious production techniques. Fresh spring colours such as white, classic blue, and light shades of yellow and brown are being sourced, for example, from the peel of pomegranates (helping save on food waste as well as reducing the use of synthetic chemicals).
The new online fit guide, along with the brand’s inclusive campaigns, are also really useful in seeing what their styles look like on. There’s currently 127 pairs of jeans on site and counting, so whether you’re in search of high waist, straight, wide, or cropped styles (and everything in between) you’re probably going to find a style that suits you. Plus, Monki are offering 20% off all jeans until the 7th March on monki.com, so there’s never been a better time to try a pair out.
