And Now, the Pretty Ballet Flats Destined to Become This Fall's It Shoes

Seeing the Miu Miu satin ballet flats come down the F/W 22 runway instantly evoked strong feelings of nostalgia. Back in 2016, Miu Miu released a pair of very similar ballet flats adorned with chunky straps, grommets, and gingham ribbons to tie up your ankle just like that of an actual ballet slipper. Quickly, the shoes went viral and appeared on the feet of every major influencer, fashion girl, and Pinterest account around the globe. The brand has released iterations of the shoe since, but nothing quite as noteworthy as the new satin ballet slippers that it just released.
The shoes have only been out for a couple of months, and the amount of love they have received from celebrities, social media, and, of course, influencers, has us convinced that these Miu Miu ballet flats are destined to become this fall's It shoe. The new style currently comes in five stunning colors, each of which also appeared on the runway. So far, we are seeing them styled mainly with thick socks to pay rightful homage to the original runway styling, and according to hours of digging through Instagram photos, white is surprisingly the most popular color choice so far.
Below, you will see an assortment of images of the ballet flats in addition to the shots of them on the runway. Plus, you can shop all the current available colorways and a healthy serving of other ballet flats we are loving now.
This gray-and-pink color combo is just perfect.
