13 Totally Wow Street Style Outfits From Milan Fashion Week
Milan Fashion Week is where the heels get higher, the outfits get louder and the general opinion on what makes an appropriate daytime outfit becomes more and more skewed. This is where the wildest outfits come out to play and the month's peacocking becomes ever more elaborate. Bright colours, clashing prints, daring hemlines and eccentric luxury accessories are this stylish city's lifeblood, and without them, the streets would be a dull place. When you've got Anna Dello Russo in a Gucci version of a Beefeater hat and influencer Eleonora Carisi in an entirely see-through chiffon dress, you know you're in the company of Italian fashion girls.
There are countless street style shots to sift through, but we wanted to bring you to most wow moments. Keep scrolling to see the 10 best street style looks from Milan Fashion Week…
All purple everything? Why not! Here Emili Sindlev is the self-confessed Cookie Monster, albeit a far more sophisticated version.
Style Notes: Tiffany's yellow checked Tibi suit has spring/summer 2019 written all over it, and she's also not the first person we've spotted in Milan wearing white pumps with everything.
Style Notes: Editors and stylists have been playing with volume and proportions during MFW, and as Ada Kokosar knows, it's always a good idea to temper big shapes with a waist belt.
Style Notes: Thora has gone all-out for this '80s throwback combination. Some of us might leave the pink shoes and heart belt at home, but the idea of a jumper, a denim skirt and tights is a good one.
Style Notes: If you didn't wear a pastel suit with white shoes during MFW, were you even there?
Short hemlines, big shoulders, high-high heels… The Attico girls, Giorgia and Gilda, represent a new kind of Italian eveningwear (that can be worn in the day, of course).
Style Notes: The key to wearing almost all of your spring clothes is to put them over a white roll-neck.

Style Notes: Milanese girls love luxe leather pieces and have a knack for wearing them in the most upscale way (see this red jacket and wide-leg trouser combination).
Style Notes: Susie's fringed and beaded Gucci extravaganza should not be missed.
Style Notes: What did I tell you about volume and waists? Here, Stella Vonsenger takes things down a more directional path with her jumbo trousers and loafers. We are in awe of her fashion bravery.
Style Notes: Muted peachy and pink tones to match dusk and the backdrop? Well, that's just showing off now.
From the sparkly hair clips down to the see-through shoes, nothing about this look is basic.
Style Notes: Gucci's logo pieces don't get cooler than this preppy suit worn with a beaded Shrimps bag.
