Proof Milan's Street Style Is the Best Place to Find Print Outfit Inspo

London Fashion Week might have finished, but that doesn't mean we have to go without our daily street style inspiration, as Milan Fashion Week is now in full swing. In London, the fashion crowd is more relaxed and playful; however, Milan is where you see glamorous head-to-toe designer looks and towering heels instead of trainers. Of course, we always see a lot of Gucci in the Italian city, and this season, the bag of choice is the house's quilted belt bag. But even if you don't have a Gucci budget, there are a number of styling lessons you can take from Milan, from how to dress up your jeans and how to make the most simple outfit street style–worthy.
Scroll below to see our favourite looks from Milan Fashion Week so far.
Style Notes: Sassy printed boots, a white tee, and a mini denim skirt make such an easy-to-wear outfit.
Style Notes: All black but showing off a bit of leg is the Italian way to do the transitional wardrobe.
Style Notes: Forgo a bra, and keep your bold blazer unbuttoned.
Style Notes: The sock boot trend isn't going anywhere.
Style Notes: Clash your bag's print with your coat's.
Style Notes: You don't have to wear print to stand out in Milan. Try two bold colours instead.
Style Notes: A printed floral dress and a printed red cardigan look so chic here.
Style Notes: Graphic tees are still winning in the street style stakes.
Style Notes: The easiest way to do the double print? Try it with a suit and a Breton top.
Style Notes: Clashing paisley prints sounds awful, but it looks chic in real life.
Style Notes: We couldn't be more obsessed with this coat.
Style Notes: Make your favourite summer dress appropriate for autumn by layering a roll-neck underneath.
Style Notes: Check coats and blazers are here to stay.
Style Notes: If you're struggling with getting pattern into your wardrobe, just try it on your feet.
Style Notes: Stripes with oversized trousers is always a good look.
Style Notes: Rainbow stripes aren't just for knitwear, as we love this pink, green and black striped midi dress with white pumps.
Style Notes: Kate Foley wears the shoes of fashion month—black mules—with a checked blazer with fur cuffs.
Style Notes: This minty green colour has been a hit this fashion month, and Eva Chen wore it head-to-toe with a pair of pink Sies Marjan platforms.
Style Notes: Caroline Issa is the queen of tailoring, and she wore a grey checked jumpsuit with a white waist belt.
Style Notes: Doina wore orange from head to toe and wore one of the latest emerging boot trends—slouchy boots.
Style Notes: This Balenciaga triangle handbag has been one of the most popular items with the street style crowd this season.
Style Notes: Alessandra Rich's floral dresses have been a street style hit this season, and MyTheresa's Tiffany Hsu wore her green button-down dress with velvet platforms and a Gucci belt bag.
Style Notes: Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert dressed like a rainbow on the first day of Milan Fashion Week, wearing her rainbow slogan T-shirt with a multicoloured pleated Gucci skirt.
Style Notes: Lucy Williams wore this Joseph checked suit during London Fashion Week, and over in Milan, Net-a-Porter's Lisa Aiken paired it with a red tote bag and white sunglasses.
Style Notes: This showgoer dressed up her classic straight-leg jeans with a jumper with a tulle overlay and heeled pointed-toe boots.
Style Notes: Dress up a classic black-and-navy outfit with statement gold shoes and a colourful handbag.
Style Notes: At Milan Fashion Week, you can expect to see a lot of Gucci, and on the first day of the shows, Veronika Heilbrunner wore a tan suit with Gucci's signature red-and-green stripes.
Style Notes: This Gucci belt bag is one of the key cult items from this fashion month, and here, a fashion week attendee wears it across her chest.
