Anytime I hear the word "Miami," I respond with "yes" and "when." So when my good friend asked if I wanted to head down to Miami with her for the Miami Grand Prix, I jumped at the opportunity. Miami is one of my favorite places to visit for many reasons, including the great restaurants, fabulous hotels, and sunny weather, to name only a few. But going to Miami during F1 weekend was a whole other beast. The Miami Grand Prix attracts celebrities and fans alike to watch the races, attend events, dine at Miami hot spots, and take full advantage of all that Miami nightlife can offer. The first thing that came to mind when I found out I was going to Miami was, "What am I going to wear?" I knew I wanted to wear clothing that was fun, stylish, elevated, and very Miami.

I wore this dress for a day at the races. It was perfect since it was a warm day, and the crochet fabric helped me stay cool while looking chic.
I don't have many pairs of designer sunglasses, but I had to have these.
If you plan on investing in a summer bag, I highly recommend this Marni option. I got so many compliments when I wore this bag in Miami.
I'll always suggest packing a great linen outfit when traveling somewhere with warm weather.
