Meghan Markle Was Wearing This Major 2018 Shoe Trend 3 Years Ago

Gentle reminder: Meghan Markle led a life pre–Prince Harry in which she could wear whatever she wanted. Oftentimes, that meant things like minidresses and trendy shoes for various events that she attended in her former life as an actress. And we just noticed that on one occasion, in particular, she was way ahead of the curve when it came to shoe trends.

In November 2015, Markle attended the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards wearing a metallic minidress, designed by her friend Misha Nonoo, with one of 2018's biggest trends: PVC (or "Cinderella") shoes. In fact, her Gianvito Rossi mule-pumps with a wide PVC strap would look completely of-the-moment today. The shoes are certainly a departure from the classic pumps she's been wearing since becoming a duchess, be we think she could get away with at least wearing them again (at least when the queen isn't around).
