Meghan Markle Just Wore a Plunging Gown With a Thigh-High Slit on the Red Carpet
Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their official royal duties, they rarely glam it up at fancy events anymore—that is, until now. Tonight, the duo made a rare red carpet appearance to attend the 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City.
For the gala, Markle wore a stunning red Carolina Herrera gown that deserves to be seen at all angles. In the front, it features a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit, while in the back, it boasts a long, dramatic train. The gown was designed by Carolina Herrera Creative Director Wes Gordon for the brand's pre-fall 2022 collection.
Harry and Meghan both wore poppies pinned to their outfits in honor of Remembrance Day, an event celebrated on November 11 in Commonwealth countries such as England and Canada. The poppy is worn to honor fallen servicepeople. Scroll down to see the photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's newest red carpet appearance in NYC.

Meghan Markle now owns this bracelet from Princess Diana's personal wardrobe.
Markle has worn these Birks earrings on several previous occasions. They retail for $12,000, but I found some affordable options below.
Another budget-friendly option to copy Markle's jewelry.
Next, Hailey Bieber wore the new platform Uggs that will sell out by December.
Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
