Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Posted Their Last-Ever Sussex Royal Instagram
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's life changes are slowly taking hold. First, they appeared at their final event as senior royals in England, and then they moved from Canada to Los Angeles. Markle even got a new acting job as the narrator for a Disney+ documentary about elephants. Now, they're officially separating themselves from all things Sussex Royal. Given that they are no longer senior royals, they don't intend to use any branding with the term "royals," including their highly popular Instagram account boasting 11.3 million followers.
Today, the couple posted their last message on the Sussex Royal Instagram. "While you may not see us here, the work continues," they wrote. "Thank you to this community - for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great! Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another."
Their message also acknowledged the effects of the pandemic and their wish for everyone to lift each other up. "What’s most important right now is the health and wellbeing of everyone across the globe and finding solutions for the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic," they wrote.
As for what's next, they are working on a nonprofit charitable organization. We also imagine they will be launching new, non-royal social media platforms to promote their work. We can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves. In the meantime, scroll down to revisit their most memorable Instagrams.

Next, get all the details on Meghan Markle's new job with Disney.
Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
