Meghan Markle Just Wore a Logo Belt You'll Love as Much as Gucci's
The Duchess of Cambridge has turned to her wedding dress designer, Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, for most of her most significant royal events, and it looks like the label is going to play the same role for the Duchess of Sussex.
Today, Meghan Markle is in Cheshire on a solo visit with the queen, after travelling overnight on the royal train. Meghan kept it classic for the occasion, opting for an elegant, structured oat-coloured dress with a cape-like overlay by Claire Waight-Keller for Givenchy.
She then punctuated her outfit with black timeless accessories, including a pair of court shoes by New York–based designer Sarah Flint and a Givenchy clutch. She also wore a slim leather logo belt by Givenchy that—after today—might become even more popular than the Gucci logo belt. (It's still available for £310, by the way.)
Following the wedding, Meghan has been making more royal outfit choices; wearing fitted dresses and nude tights that follow royal dress codes. The queen always wears bold, vibrant colours to events where there will be a big crowd (like she did today) so that she can stand out and more people can get a glimpse of her.
Today, the queen wore a lime green button-front coat by her trusted designer Stewart Parvin, paired with a matching hat. Today marks one year since Grenfell Tower, and it has been lit green to pay tribute to those affected by the disaster. It's thought that the queen is wearing Grenfell green today to pay her respects.
