Meghan Markle Made Leggings Look Chic at the NYC Airport

Meghan Markle returned to her home country for a special occasion: celebrating her baby shower with friends roughly two months before her due date. On Wednesday, Markle concluded her trip by heading to the airport wearing the ultimate travel look: a camel coat, leggings, and running sneakers. On Tuesday, she was photographed at The Mark Hotel in New York City wearing a low-key outfit, including a vintage Courrèges coat from William Vintage, skinny jeans, nude Stuart Weitzman pumps, oversize sunglasses, and a CH Carolina Herrera tote bag.

Her friends Serena Williams, Jessica Mulroney, and Abigail Spencer were among the attendees. The surprise NYC trip comes just a few days before Markle and Prince Harry are scheduled to travel to Morocco this weekend. She's also had a slew of recent events in London, where she tried out the monochrome trend and channeled Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, solidifying her reign as the chicest expectant mom right now. Scroll down to see Markle's outfits from her NYC trip.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
