Mary Katrantzou Electrifies Victorian Era Standbys for F/W 15
last updated
in Features
Don’t let the subdued opening looks fool you—the electric prints we’ve come to expect from Mary Katrantzou are alive and well, though they seem to have grown-up a bit, with references to the past. A hint of grandiose Victorian style surges throughout in the layers of damask print and intarsia mink, while the technicolor PVC waistlines and sequin sheaths place the looks in the here and now. The fluted hemlines on skirts and pants are the icing on the cake.
