The Affordable Brand I Buy My Most-Complimented Jumpers From
Strong knitwear is at the heart of every good autumn wardrobe, but you needn't search far and wide to find chic styles to update your existing wares with. Over the past couple of winter seasons, I've come to realise that the jumpers I always get the most compliments on are my Marks and Spencer jumpers. And I don't think that's a coincidence.
Made from quality fabrications with durability I just can't find anywhere else on the high street, Marks and Spencer jumpers have proven to be one of my wisest fashion investments to date. And this year, there are so many stylish options to choose from it would be rude of me not to share them with you.
We're only on the cusp of autumn, but already, Marks and Spencer is leading the knitwear charge with its woolly offering of elevated jumpers that'll work just as well layered over dresses and paired with skirts as they will be tucked into jeans or thrown on with joggers.
From cable knits to ribbing, crew necks to balloon sleeves and a couple of irresistible cardigans and knitted vests thrown in for good measure, scroll on to see my edit of the best Marks and Spencer jumpers of the season. Then, when you've identified your favourites, continue on to see the best bits from Marks and Spencer's autumn drop to wear them with.

Pared-back and polished, this looks great in the grey colourway, too.
Henley tops are my favourite downtime tops, so you know I'll be snapping up this knitted iteration.
Okay, so this isn't technically a jumper, but it's so great I think we can all agree it would be rude not to include it. I'm also pretty taken with the camel version.
Beige jumpers are my knitwear weakness; the placement of the tortoiseshell buttons makes this style feel more directional, too.
Again, not technically a jumper, but it's hard to leave knitted vests out of any woolly roundup—particularly when they're this good.
This chunky knit has the prettiest flecks of rainbow thread woven throughout it.
I love roll necks, but often, they're too thick for autumn. This thinner funnel neck, however, strikes the ideal in-between season balance.
The detail on this is something I'd expect from a designer knit. So pretty.
Wrap cardigans are already trending this autumn; a cream style will unlock so many outfit options for you.
Still have a thing for pink? Me too. Wear this jumper tucked into blue jeans and toughened up with chunky leather boots.
A grey jumper is a wardrobe essential that'll never fail you.
The belted waist on this knitted vest will create a gorgeous silhouette.
My colleague Nell Block put me on to this sweater, for which I'll be forever grateful.
Such a staple. I know I'll wear this mole-coloured knit with so many pieces.
This zesty colour was one summer's biggest trends, and this is the perfect way to carry it through to autumn.
