I'm a Beauty Editor—15 Marks & Spencer Beauty Products I'd Add to Your Basket
Here at Who What Wear UK, we love M&S. Marks and Spencer can always be relied upon for high-quality yet affordable fashion buys—not to mention Percy Pigs. I regularly pop in to my local, and being a beauty editor, I also really rate its beauty hall.
As well as having its own range of M&S beauty products (we're big fans of M&S's Apothecary candles, which look and smell far more expensive than their price tag), you'll also find so many well-loved beauty brands, from Nuxe and Eve Lom to TikTok-loved Color Wow and Ren Clean Skincare. Among them are affordable M&S-owned fragrances that happen to smell very chic indeed—one of my current favourites is just £6.
Ahead, you'll find the best Marks and Spencer beauty products that I think are really worth adding to your basket the next time you're in the store or shopping online. From fragrance to skincare and makeup to hairare, there are so many cult beauty heroes that are worth stocking up on.

If you're looking for a luxe candle on a budget, then look no further than this beauty. First of all, the candle vessel looks luxe on its own, but the scents inside are equally chic. Tranquil is a grounding candle for makes it perfect for unwinding in the evenings. And at £17 for a large three-wick candle, it really is such a great buy.
Also in the same range is this hand wash, which would look equally chic in your bathroom or kitchen sink. Ideal for when you want something a little more fancier than a supermarket hand soap without breaking the bank.
You may have already seen the de-frizzing superpowers of this styling spray on Instagram and TikTok, and it really does work. For those not yet acquainted, you spritz this onto damp hair and once heat-activated, it seals the hair in a humidity-proof shield to leave the shiniest finish free from frizz. It also comes in a formula for curly hair to leave curls shiny, smooth and defined. You'll have to move quickly if you see the larger size in stock, but this travel size is perfect for giving it a go first (spoiler alert: you'll love it).
This has been a cult classic for years, and a tube really ought to be in everyone's skincare arsenal. The thick, moisturising balm can be used on lips, dry cuticles, to soothe irritated skin and even under or on top of makeup for a dewy finish. A tube will last you forever, so it's definitely worth the investment.
I was shocked when I learned that this perfume was just £6, and out of all the luxury perfumes I'm sent for my job as a beauty editor, this is one that gets me compliments time and time again.
Everyone who tries this product instantly adores it. I recently popped in to my local M&S to try these out (you can get the original oil pictured here, as well as one infused with bronze shimmer and another with a floral scent). You can use it as a lightweight body oil to lend limbs a seductive sheen, as a nourishing face oil or even to add shine to your hair. It's a French beauty favourite for a reason.
And while we're on the topic of Nuxe, I'd highly recommend you pick up a pot of this lip balm. It has a thick velvety texture that shields chapped lips and helps restore moisture. This tub will last you for ages too.
Neom's reed diffusers are stunning, and thanks to the inclusion of aromatherapy scents, each one is designed to lift your spirits. The Happiness one is so uplifting and refreshing—guaranteed good vibes for whichever room you choose to place it in.
This latest launch from Ren Clean Skincare isn't to be missed. This watery-gel essence adds an extra hit of hydration after cleansing and before applying your serums or moisturiser. Not only does it leave skin quenched and bouncy, but thanks to bio-ferments, it helps to reinforce the skin's microbiome, helping to boost your skin barrier and prevent irritation. It also works incredibly well to prime the skin before makeup.
Absolutely everyone loves this hair hero from Living Proof. So many dry shampoos leave hair feeling chalky, but this one genuinely leaves you hair feeling far less greasy while giving roots a nice boost of volume. This is great ti have on standby for when you need to prolong your next shampoo.
Forgive me for the pun, but you won't want to sleep on this night cream. Formula is M&S's own range of skincare. This night time moisturiser helps to leave skin looking radiant come morning. It's peptide formula helps to address wrinkles and leave skin plumped.
If you want to invest in a really good hair mask, I'd suggest picking this one up. The clues in the name of the brilliant results this lends to hair. Bounce, shine and healthy ends will be yours.
This balmy lipstick is another crowd-pleaser. It looks almost deep purple in the bullet but leaves lips with a pink hue that suits everyone. There's a reason why it had a recent TikTok resurgence!
This mascara isn't new, but it's a bit of a modern classic. The flexible brush flexes lashes to their optimum length, giving you a fanned-out and curled effect.
If your hands are permanently gasping for moisture, then pop one of these hand creams in your basket. The shea-enriched formula cocoons fragile skin while protecting them.
