Whilst a lifetime of saving up could perhaps never afford us the breathtaking Chopard diamonds dangling from Marion Cotillard’s ears in the picture below, her striking party top is way more within our reach.
To attend a party thrown by the luxury jeweller in Cannes last night, the French Oscar winner didn’t don an haute couture gown, but a corseted tunic top by the modestly priced London brand, Self-Portrait.
Eschewing all manner of French labels at her disposal, the brunette follows in the stylish footsteps of fellow actresses Jessica Biel, Naomie Harris and Reese Witherspoon in choosing the brand for a high-profile outing.
Of course, being an A-lister, Cotillard got first dibs on the A/W 17 collection. However, there’s not too long to wait to shop it yourself: Insiders tell us that the top will go on sale for pre-order on June 19 and will be available to buy on July 3. Cotillard has inspired us to keep our eyes peeled for this piece and provided ample inspiration for how to style it (we’re thinking it would look just as chic over black trousers, too). With Self-Portrait tops ranging between the £200 to £300 mark, we’ll happily sacrifice that daily latte in favour of ushering in some Cannes Film Festival glamour into our wardrobe.
