If there’s one woman’s wardrobe we’re all currently crushing on here in the Who What Wear office, it’s Margot Robbie’s, and this weekend, she proved that there’s a good reason for our fervor. While we were all layering up our knits and throwing on the nearest pair of sneakers, she has quite literally gone and outshone us all in the most amazing yellow suit and matching heels.
Ever since seeing her in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood this summer with her enviable ’60s-inspired wardrobe, we’ve noticed Margot has been bringing her A-game off-screen as well. While popping out in New York this weekend, Robbie chose this lemony two-piece from Attico paired with a statement lip, giving us major ’80s-power-suit vibes. Some people think of bright yellow as a harsh, overwhelming color that's not exactly easy on the eyes or easy to style, so it can certainly be risky to wear. While it's not as versatile as muted colors, we happen to think the risk pays off in spades.
There’s really nothing like a bright suit, and Robbie has proven how easy it is to change up the office-appropriate suit and make it work just as well in the evening. We can’t get over the perfect oversize slouch of the blazer that gives this look such a relaxed vibe (it works just as well thrown over her shoulders as it does on), but it’s the casual pairing of a white T-shirt and killer coordinated stilettos that take this look to the next level. Attico is one of our favorite evening-wear brands, and this suit is going straight on our wish list for holiday party season (too soon?).
