Margot Robbie Just Wore 4 Outfits We're Copying for Spring
A round of applause please for Margot Robbie. She is officially the MVP in the wardrobe-inspiration department right now. As she continues to stick to the nu-minimalism memo, we're getting more ideas of how we want to dress, and they're just so chic. The star has been attending a series of interviews during her press tour for her latest film, Birds of Prey (a follow-up to her role as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad), and her wardrobe has been a minimalist’s dream. Thanks to her ability to make everything look great and her stylist Kate Young’s exceptional taste levels, the actress continues to wear some brilliant pared-back outfits, which we’re planning on re-creating.
However, minimalism isn’t for everyone, I get that. It can seem a little drab. It’s very much the opposite of bright and colourful. But here’s where I think a lot of people get it wrong—it’s far from boring. If anything, it takes real styling flair to know how to make a minimal outfit feel fresh. For 2020, the trick isn’t just settling on the classic black and white colours but expanding that palette to browns, creams, beiges, and more muted colours. It’s also about ensuring the details are kept low-key—the fewer flourishes the better. A hint of a stitch here, a bit of draping there or even some pleating is all you need to complete the trend. And Margot’s most recent four outfits succeed every time. Ready to see what we’re talking about? Keep scrolling for more.
Style Notes: A white tux jacket that's very low cut is incredibly elegant thanks to the pairing with long black trousers.

Style Notes: From the leather trousers to the white top and matching shoes, all finished off with a brown coat. Just so chic.

Style Notes: If in doubt on how to do the minimalist trend, stick to one overall colour (a dress is ideal) and pair with ankle boots. Keep detailing to a minimum, but a bit of draping is a chic way to keep the trend fresh for 2020.
Style Notes: The ultimate pared-back outfit. Jeans, a T-shirt, a pair of black boots and a black coat. Perfection.
