Mango Launched Its Most Viral-Worthy Drop to Date—10 Items That Hold Up IRL
Mango is at it again with another irresistible collaboration, and dare I say this just might be one of its most viral-worthy drops to date. The Spanish retailer has a habit of teaming up with some of the coolest fashion people of the moment, and its latest collection taps Jen Ceballos, the Miami-based influencer otherwise known as @endlesslyloveclub, whose moody minimalist aesthetic and trend-informed outfits you've definitely saved, screenshotted, and maybe even aimed to re-create yourself.
Effortlessly cool is a term that gets thrown around far too easily, but it's more than apt when it comes to Ceballos's style. Her singular lens on fashion combined with the impossible-to-resist price points at Mango makes for one collection that's just teeming with must-have items. In it, you'll find elements like mini hemlines, sheer fabrics, and rosette details—in other words, some of the major fall and winter trends of 2023 we've been talking about all season. Considering we're only at the start of the holiday season, the party-ready dresses and separates you're about to see should be candidates for all your upcoming invites.
I couldn't resist the opportunity to take the collection for a spin. I rode the F train uptown to Mango's Fifth Avenue flagship store when it launched last week and pulled two armfuls of freshly racked pieces so I could see how they translate from my phone screen to the dressing room. Up ahead, see how 10 items from the Jen Ceballos x Mango collection look IRL, and read about my take on the best pieces to buy. Of course, with a buzzy launch like this, some things are already beginning to sell out, so once you scroll through this edit, I wouldn't wait too long to hit order on your favorites.
Mango Pocket Leather Jacket
I've tried countless leather jackets in my time, and I'm thoroughly impressed with this one. The substantial weight of it honestly rivals any of my genuine vintage jackets, and the distressing is on par with the lived-in look we've been seeing bubble up all year. "Dad" jackets can easily look too oversize, so I appreciate that this fit is roomy but slightly cropped for a more modern look. If you've been on the lookout for an investment jacket, I'm giving you the green light to go for this A+ find. I wouldn't wait too long if I were you, though, as some sizes are already dwindling on Mango's site.
The distressing, the large-scale pockets, the rich espresso-brown color—the details here are just *chef's kiss*.

Mango Sequin Embroidered Dress
Are you there, Santa? It's me, Anna. If you're reading this, know that I've found the number one item to top my holiday wish list, and it's this Sequin Embroidered Dress. Made from two sheer layers, it gives a wash of color in a watery lavender hue that the photos don't even do justice. Statement pieces like this normally intimidate me, but I love the simple '90s-inspired cut and thin straps that make it oddly wearable for being such a standout piece. I was impressed by the construction of the dress, too, and the fact that you can snap off the top sequin layer to wear it solo.
A closer look at these intricate sequins and sheer embroidery.

Mango 100% Wool Sweater + Rhinestone Mini-Skirt
Ceballos has a way of making festive pieces feel effortless and easy, and this outfit is the perfect representation of that. A rhinestone miniskirt? Downright casual when paired with a thin wool tee. Speaking of this top, it's thin, stretchy, and super soft and would be a great base layer for winter outfits far beyond the eveningwear category.

Mango Silk Velvet Slip Dress + Floral Heeled Sandals
When I say words like risqué and viral-worthy to describe this collection, know that I'm talking about pieces like this velvet lace gown. With a dramatic thigh-high slit and barely there straps, it's an absolute stunner. It's a combination of sheer black lace and satin and velvet in a rich espresso hue that just feels right for fall. The only downside is that I would want to take the straps in for a closer fit, which is why I'm holding them in the back here to show how I'd want the front of the dress to sit.
I wore it with the Floral Heeled Sandals, a pair of brown satin mules adorned with a pretty rosette detail. The simple mules were ultra-walkable and the top recommendation I'd give for the shoes in this collection.
A peek at the back because this dress is dramatic from all angles.

Mango Draped Satin Top
The retro '70s and '80s energy is potent in this collection, especially in this dreamy silky halter top. I hate to play favorites, but I'll admit that I immediately fell in love with this piece and took it up the register before leaving the store. It has a dramatic plunging neckline and low back, so some type of body tape is inevitably required, but I'm willing to factor in the extra step to wear it because it's the kind of piece that basically styles itself.

Mango Cropped Wool Blazer + Wool Skirt with Slit
Now we're entering the "daytime" section of this story. Although, to be fair, this skirt suit has day-to-night written all over it. It's one of the few pieces from the collection that aren't completely party coded, but I enjoyed how the tailoring felt fresh and forward with its '80s-inspired jacket featuring strong shoulders and a cropped waist.
Although not the flashiest compared to the sequins and thigh-high slits you just saw, I need to bring your attention to this maxi skirt because its has total wardrobe-staple energy. The wool blend is ideal as we head into winter, and I love that the center slit is the perfect frame for a pair of great boots or cool tights and heels. Bonus: The waist is elasticated, so you can adjust it on your hips for a trendy low-rise moment.

Mango Open-Back Pleated Dress
This sheer knit number is simply too NSFW to publish on its own, but you can get a sense of how the dress looks and fits even though I wore it underneath the Pocket Leather Jacket. What shocked me the most wasn't how sheer it was—I would easily wear it with some full-coverage lingerie or a bodysuit for a night out—but that it was so comfortable. I wasn't expecting that for a piece this categorically risqué, but it is technically a knit, and it feels as good as any ribbed sweater. The fabric has a hint of metallic woven through to give it a little festive feel (without looking tacky).

Styling this underneath a boxy blazer is definitely the way to go.
You know holiday season has arrived when the faux-fur jackets are reemerging.
