Sorry, chunky boots. Apologies, puffer coats. Colourful knitwear is officially my fashion catnip this winter. Despite not usually being a bright-colour kinda gal, I've really found myself drawn towards the paintbox bright shades that took to the runway this season. The brightest of them all? Loewe. The brand well and truly embraced a rainbow of shades in its A/W 22 collection, notably via its knitwear offering, but there was one jumper in particular that captured the imagination of the fashion crowd.
The likes of Renia Jaz of Ven's Wife Style and Ellie Delphine of Slip Into Style have been spotted in a Loewe knit, styling it with tailored trousers and a patent skirt, respectively. It comes in a fuzzy texture, intarsia-knit fabric, lilac colourway and slim-fitting style. Not unlike a statement coat, it's one of those pieces that you can throw on with your fave wardrobe basics, and it will instantly elevate them. Therein lies the beauty of the brightly coloured jumper. I also like how influencers have layered on wide belts to add drama, but personally, I would love to pair it with jeans and lace-up boots for easy weekend dressing.
