I Tried the $98 Jeans WWW Readers Freak Over—See All the 'Fits
I've tried many denim brands over the past few years, but I always find myself gravitating toward the top-tier classic—Levi's. The denim is premium quality, and I've always been able to find the perfect fit without any tailored adjustments needed. At 5'2", that's rare for me. I've tried a variety of the brand's styles, from wide-leg to Ribcage, but I thought I'd give its popular Wedgie style a go. It's $98 and always has stellar reviews, so why not? I'm not a skinny-jeans girl, but the silhouette of this style meets the perfect balance between wide-leg jeans and skinny jeans. It has a slightly tapered ankle, and while roomy on the calves, it fits the waist to perfection, like most Levi's do. The Wedgie is inspired by vintage styles and gets its name from the ability to give your butt a lifted look—like a wedgie without the discomfort. Finished off with a high waist, it's an extremely flattering jeans silhouette.
I initially started wearing these jeans for the story, but now, they've become the first pair I reach for in my closet. If you don't believe me yet, take a look at all the 'fits I wore below featuring the jeans. From elevated winter outfits to cozy dressing, these jeans have easily become a top favorite.
If there was a prime winter outfit for me, this would be it. With a puffer jacket, my wide-leg jeans might be too much, so the Wedgie jeans make an excellent pairing.
I love the look of an oversize coat paired with tapered jeans.
Since I don't wear skinny jeans, this pair of jeans is perfect because it's not skintight, but it's slim enough to tuck into boots. Throw on a sweatshirt and blazer and you've got yourself a Princess Diana–inspired ensemble.
When in doubt, cozy it out. Even in a simple pullover, I look put-together thanks to these jeans.
