Sorry, Blue Jeans—Fashion People Are Now Pouncing on This New Denim Trend
It's finally winter and change is in the air. All of a sudden, all of the chicest people I follow have swapped their plain blue and black denim for this trending print, and across high-street and designer brands alike, leopard print jeans are the hottest thing you can wear on your bottom half. And they're selling out quickly—we reckon Ganni's pair were the ones to kick off the movement, and they flew out of stock. The new-season style offers a more playful spin on traditional winter dressing, and thankfully, there are a slew of other styles on offer. Leopard print, which some editors will argue is a wardrobe neutral akin to navy or black, offers more bang for its buck than any other print I'm used to styling.
Jeans aren't the only item to fall prey to the leopard-print revival. We're also seeing so many fun pairs of leopard print shoes and a whole lot of leopard print coats, so it looks as though winter 2024 is calling for a little more eccentricity than usual. To give your winter outfits a decidedly 2024 twist, simply style the jeans with a fresh white tee, or go all out and wear the trending print with a faux-fur or floor-skimming coat.
