I Dare You Not to Fall in Love With This Spring Dress Trend
Although we are well through March by this point and officially spring has started, we can’t be certain that spring weather is right around the corner anymore, with forecasts as unpredictable as they are these days. So although the weather may be less than ideal, we can thankfully always count on a fresh crop of spring trends to brighten things up, whether it be via pretty pastels or cool new sneakers. Today, though, there’s one spring trend that we feel extra emotional about. And after seeing how perfect it is, you’d be crazy not to fall in love with it, too.
Layered dresses—whether tiered or hemmed with ruffles—are what we’re head over heels for right now. Sure, we’ll always have our slip dresses, wrap dresses, and other staples on rotation, but the addition of these flirty layers will add an interesting dimension to any look. Wear them with strappy sandals and a clutch for date night, or pair an asymmetrically hemmed dress with clean sneakers for a cool off-duty approach. Quite honestly, the styling options are endless with a dress this good.
With major layering on the skirt, we love how this look combines a cropped sweater to balance it out.
Layered dresses are ideal for pulling off the dress-over-jeans look since their ruffled tiers create shape.
Opt for a wrap dress with a tiered skirt to add dimension to the whole look.
Soft draping makes even the simplest of dress styles into something special.
