Lauren Conrad: "These Are the Items in My Closet I've Worn 100 Times"
With just one more month of summer left, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of seasonal trends. I know I can’t wait to break out the fall fashion and debut new collections for my LC Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown lines filled with the best that autumn has to offer. (Fall florals are screaming my name!)
That said, while seasons (and trends) come and go, I’ve noticed that I have some prominent wardrobe staples that stay on rotation year-round. So instead of curating a roundup of my favorite transitional pieces like I normally would during the month of August, I have a little curveball for you all.
Today I’m going to share with you my tried-and-true pieces that have long exceeded their season. No matter the weather, I can guarantee I’ve worn all of the pieces I’m about to mention a hundred times throughout the year. Some of these pieces may be an investment, but I promise you they’re built to last.
Keep scrolling to see the pieces in my personal wardrobe that I’ve worn at least a hundred times…
The most versatile pants in my wardrobe happen to be my LC Lauren Conrad jeggings. I love that they’re as comfortable as leggings but look like any other jeans. It’s safe to say that these babies make an appearance at least once a week.
One thing I love about living near the ocean is the coastal breeze that blows through most evenings. This cashmere J.Crew sweater is just as warm and cozy as it is adorable.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen these Ray-Ban sunglasses make quite a few appearances.
These classic Converse are probably the most frequently replaced item in my wardrobe. I wear them just about everywhere. I like to be comfortable when I’m on my feet all day, and these sneakers are my favorite.
One thing you should know about me: I love feminine details. When designing this blouse for Paper Crown, I had to add my favorite pattern along with the sweet ruffle details.
For those days when I like to add a bit more edge to my ensemble, I like to pull out these Rag & Bone leather pants. Adding a touch of unexpected texture can really elevate an outfit.
Every woman has her favorite multipurpose handbag that goes just about everywhere. This leather bucket bag (a holiday gift from my LaurenConrad.com editors) from Mansur Gavriel is that bag for me. I love how sturdy it is (plus, how pretty is the pop of color on the inside?).
Whenever it’s time to dress up, I always reach for shoes that are pretty and classic (and won’t make my feet sore at the end of the night!). These Valentino pumps may be a splurge, but they’re absolutely worth the investment.
My go-to blouse has to be a classic white button-down like this one from Zara. It’s perfect for midday errands as well as running around at my Paper Crown or LaurenConrad.com photo shoots!
I love a good two-piece in my closet, and Reformation is my go-to store for chic matching sets. What’s not to love?
