It's no secret that we love a good morning routine. We've come to learn, however, that the rituals we do to wind down before bed are just as important. As a long-time beauty YouTuber turned entrepreneur, there’s no denying that Laura Lee has cemented her place in the digital space, with a namesake beauty line, fashion brand, and millions of followers across her social platforms. For her most recent endeavor, Lee has been busy developing and launching a podcast called, Fool Coverage, with her best friend and fellow beauty guru, Manny MUA.

"Around this time, I'll begin winding down for the day. My family, which includes my husband, Tyler, my niece, Eryn, and I will either make or order dinner. Some days are longer than others, so if we’re too tired, we'll likely order takeout."

"Lately, however, I’ve been doing more cooking at home and have been loving trying new recipes. This pepper chicken stir fry recipe from Spend with Pennies is an easy go-to dinner. Our rule in the house is whoever doesn’t cook does all the dishes, so that way we’re all motivated to pitch in."

8 P.M.

"If the day wasn't too hectic, I'll try to get a workout in at our home gym after dinner. I like to mix cardio in with a bit of weightlifting and will typically find a good workout on YouTube to follow along to, like Chloe Ting's."

"Afterward, I'll head upstairs for a bath. I’m usually pretty tired after a long day, so I like to unwind by soaking in a tub full of bath salts and a good book. I’m a big believer in self-help books. Whether you’re super successful, at rock bottom, or anywhere in-between, I think everyone can benefit from some encouragement and motivation in their lives. My go-to recommendation is Jen Sincero's You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life."

"After my bath, I like to get cozy in a pair of PJs. Lately, I’ve been loving my satin button from my clothing brand Nudie Patootie."

8:45 P.M.

"Now on to skincare! As a first step, I like to start things off with one of my favorites, Tatcha's Camellia Cleansing Oil. I use this oil with a makeup eraser cloth to remove all my makeup. Next, I go in with my Korres Greek Yogurt Foaming Cleanser to wash my face and clean off any excess residue."

"Afterwards, I'll apply my serums: Lancôme's Advanced Génifique Radiance Serum for smooth and glowy skin and Skin Medica's Essential TNS Serum to help support my face's collagen and elastin levels. For moisture, I'll use Kate Somerville's DeliKate Recovery Cream for the face and LaMer's The Eye Concentrate all around my eyes."

9 P.M.

"After that, I’ll grab a late-night snack, typically something light like a banana, before heading to the bedroom for the night. I try not to snack before bed every night but sometimes I can’t resist!

"My days are usually busy, so I'll spend most nights preparing for the next day, by answering emails and DMs, creating video ideas for my YouTube channel, and researching fashion and cosmetic trends for my brands.

"My husband and I will also watch some TV while we wind down. Lately, we’ve been watching Survivor and I’m obsessed! It’s a great background show while I prepare for the next day. We also love any show with enough seasons to binge! You name it and we’ve probably watched it, ha! And from there, it’s off to bed around midnight."
