The Chicest 40-Year-Old in France Wears These 6 Items Nonstop
Gen Z models like Kaia Gerber and Willow Smith are seemingly taking over the industry, but we don't blame you if you want to take outfit inspiration from someone born before the millennium. Right now, 40-year-old French model Laetitia Casta is high on the list of celebrities I want to dress like—and you're about to see why.
Casta has been modeling since the '90s and became a Guess girl in 1993 when she was just 15 years old. She caught my eye recently, however, because of her new movie A Faithful Man, which premiered in France last month and also stars fellow well-dressed French model Lily-Rose Depp. The duo embarked on a very chic press tour that offered up plenty of stylish outfit ideas, so you can bet we're taking notes. Below, I've rounded up Casta's six wardrobe essentials that every woman should also own.
1. Jumpsuits
2. Long Wool Coats
3. Cropped Leather Jackets
4. Pantsuits
5. Minimalist Red Dress
6. White T-Shirts
Next up, I compared 21 airports and these six have the best style.
Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
