The Sweater Trend Stylish People in London and NYC Are Wearing Again This Fall

There are obvious cons about the colder months, but I love many things about them too—cozy nights spent watching movies, hot apple cider at parties, and stocking up on cozy knits are some that come to the top of my mind. While there's no doubt that sweaters are at the forefront of my mind, I'm particularly partial to a knit set. They're a one-and-done outfit formula, are extremely comfortable, and always look effortlessly chic no matter how you style them. That sounds like a winner in my book.

Whether it's a skirt set or ribbed-knit sweater-and-pant combo, fashion people and brands are reveling in the philosophy that two is better than one. If we're getting into specifics, I'm seeing the style a lot on the NYC and London fashion sets. As the nights get colder and darker, there's nothing better than lounging in a sumptuous, comfy, and cozy knit set. Find your pick in my selection of the best below.

She's also spent time writing and working for publications such as Fashionista, Coveteur, and Nylon, but she always knew that Who What Wear was where she was meant to be. When she's on the job, she's perusing runway shows, analyzing the latest thing fellow Gen Zers are up to on the internet, and sharing what she can about the modest-fashion market. You can also catch her dabbling in entertainment, talking about the costume choices of the latest Netflix series or diving deeper into how the plotline affects the viewers in a myriad of ways. Lastly, she likes to create content for Who What Wear's TikTok. Her personal time is spent doing similar but also different things—deep diving into almost every new TV show (Bridgerton, Gilmore Girls, and Stranger Things are favorites), planning her next local getaway (whenever that may be), and reading the latest Emily Henry or Sally Rooney novel in one sitting.
