What Our Fashion Editor Is Buying From the Kenzo x H&M Collection

The highly anticipated Kenzo x H&M collection is finally in stores worldwide tomorrow. Now, if last year’s Balmain x H&M collaboration is anything to go by, this one won’t last long on the shelves. Our advice? Line up early so you don’t miss out on all the best pieces. The collection will be available at H&M Melbourne's GPO, H&M Pitt Street Mall, Sydney, Lakeside Joondalup, Perth & H&M Queen Street, Brisbane from 9 a.m. Shoppers are encouraged to line up early (although as there are limited quantities, lining up doesn’t guarantee you’ll walk away with a piece form the collection). What you need to know? Coloured wristbands will be handed out from 7 a.m. to the people in the queue, and there will be 14 colours with one for each group of up to 20 customers. Your colour determines when you can shop in the designer collection area in store—and you only have 10 minutes, so check out the entire collection so you know what you’re looking for.

There’ll be extremely limited quantities available in select stores—which we actually think is great. It’s much better to keep the collection exclusive than have everyone you know getting around town in the exact same outfits.

The collection will inspire you to mix prints, embrace colour, and stand out. The clothes and accessories feature Kenzo’s signature tiger-stripe print, and every piece embodies the brand’s quirky designs we’ve come to expect.
