Great Expectations: Mango Books Kendall to Boost Business
After an epic 2015 modelling for Victoria Secret with BFF Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner has landed her first major modelling campaign of 2016 for retail giant Mango. As part of the brand's new fast fashion strategy to up its sales and get its key pieces into the wardrobes of the industry's nattiest dressers, Jenner, 19, has been booked to embody one of four themes: Tribal Spirit. Cue folky detailing, fringes galore and lots of highly wearable free-spirited separates. "I love wearing the designs, fabrics and shapes - they really speak of the allure of nature which I know this collection was inspired by," says the star.
Kendall described the experience as "unbeatable," WWD reports, and that she "felt very comfortable with the garments and with the entire Mango team." Mango will launch a new spring theme every month after Kendall's debut, the last of which will premiere in May, with a different model each time.
