This One Shot of Kendall, Gigi and Hailey Confirms a Lot of Things

You know when you're so in tune with your best friends that you all start accidentally coordinating to the point where anyone would think you're in a girl band? Yes, we've all been there on days where there's so much denim within one clique that it appears B*Witched has regrouped for another go.

And so it seems that Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin are in that kind of tight-knit circle of style—stepping out in New York in perfect harmony. Distinctly different but mysteriously similar ensembles of black and denim blue were chosen for a day's A-list strolling. It's interesting how a standard, albeit luxe, set of garms can be styled to suit alternative personalities. There are a few fashion lessons that bind these three girls and their looks together, and they are as follows:

Almost every denim silhouette is acceptable right now—you just need to decide whether you're a mom-jean girl or not, because there are plenty of other options out there—as Gigi proves with these boot-cut flares.

Jeans plus a black top is a fail-safe idea. Every time.

Ankle boots are definitely back, and they must be black. Bonus points for chunky platforms.

Carrying a posh handbag on a casual day now looks kind of cool rather than uptight.

But don't over-accessorise. Just a slim choker or pair of round sunglasses is more than enough to look pulled-together.
