Katie Holmes Just Wore a Chic Everlane Outfit I Immediately Added to My Cart

Katie Holmes can make pretty much anything look good, but I'm convinced that the Everlane outfit she just wore would look good on anyone. The outfit is a two-piece gingham suit from its recently launched Modern Essentials collection, and it's pretty much the perfect early-spring outfit.

For its Modern Essentials edit, Everlane put together a handful of perfectly tailored wardrobe staples that you could feasibly wear over and over for years to come, including Holmes's oversize '80s-style blazer and pleated pants (which she paired with a $24 Everlane T-shirt and loafers). As someone who loves jeans but easily tires of wearing them every day, I'm especially inspired by her suit. And the best part is that with a suit, or any set, you don't need to waste time putting together an outfit, and you can easily mix and match the two pieces.
