The Kate Moss Way to Make Simple Ballet Flats Look Cool

Kate Moss is a perennial beacon of style, so when she steps out in even the most casual of outfits, we take notice. Recently, the supermodel was spotted wearing a seemingly off-season look during a rainy day in London. Clad in baggy cargo pants, a black turtleneck sweater, and a water-repelling trench coat, Moss capped off her look with a pair of super simple black ballet flats. And guess what? She still manages to look supremely chic, despite the inclement weather.

So, while this look may be a bit too layered for the hotter-than-average summer temperatures we're experiencing stateside, that doesn't mean it's too early to add this outfit to our fall fashion mood board. Ahead, shop a selection of green cargo pants, black sweaters, chic trench coats, and of course, classic ballet flats so you can copy Moss' casual look any day of the week.

Umbrellas are optional but encouraged, especially if you're having a good hair day.
