Kate Middleton Wore a Trendy Fall Color With Her Go-To Heel Style
Kate Middleton has never been one to shy away from bright colors any time of year, fall included. And she always seems to be attuned to the current season's color trends and undoubtedly furthers them when she wears them. This time around, that color is marigold.
Middleton visited a hospital in England today, wearing a pleated golden-yellow midi dress that resembled the color of a changing leaf. She paired the Karen Millen dress with her favorite heels to wear with dresses and everything else: high pointed-toe pumps. They're as classic as shoes get, and her frequent use of them proves their versatility. But back to the marigold of it all.
Marigold pieces (and often full looks) made frequent appearances on the fall/winter 2022 runways, and the color has begun popping up on the market as well. There are many shades of yellow out there, so if you want a visual example, google "marigold flowers." You'll find that the color is more muted than yellow but less dull than mustard. It's a happy color that feels appropriate for fall in every way.
