Did you miss the instant classic tennis match on Sunday? After Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer battled it out for nearly five hours in the longest Wimbledon final in history, one ESPN commentator noted that Kate Middleton's outfit will likely garner as many headlines as the on-court action—and he was right. The Duchess of Cambridge, a longtime tennis fan and patron of the All England Club, not only attended the match but also presented the winner and runner-up trophies for the first time ever, putting her outfit front and center.

For the prestigious event, Middleton expertly mixed high and low brands. She dressed up her Aldo Nicholes Shoes, a steal at just $80, with one of the prettiest summer trends everyone should invest in: a pastel midi dress. Naturally, her Emilia Wickstead Textured Flared Dress ($957) is already sold out, but that doesn't stop us from pining for it. She also wore her favorite Ray-Ban Wayfarer II Sunglasses ($153), another accessible royal item people will no doubt scurry to buy. Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
