This Model Turned Chief Brand Officer Shares Her Favorite Drink to Unwind With
It's no secret that we love a good morning routine. We've come to learn, however, that the rituals we do to wind down before bed are just as important. Whether you take 10 minutes or a few hours, it's precious time that you have set aside at the end of the day to take care of yourself. Our series Weekend Wind-Down highlights the nightly routines of the people we admire.
For someone who spends so much of her time traveling, it’s no wonder that supermodel Kate Bock has carved a self-care regimen that allows her some semblance of a routine, no matter the locale. When it comes to winding down, Bock prioritizes spending quality time with her fiancé, NBA player Kevin Love, as well as, moments of pure self-indulgence, like binging her favorite shows or pouring herself a pre-dinner drink or nightcap to close out the day.
Bock currently serves as the Chief Brand Officer for Pompette, an elevated line of spiked sparkling waters, but it seems that her true passion for this role stems directly from her own self-care rituals.

After I get back from walking my dog Vestry, I am ready for my 30 to 40 minute Megan Roup Sculpt Society workout. She does the best cardio and sculpt workouts, and since I enjoy them so much, the half-hour passes by so quickly.
When I’m not doing Megan Roup’s Sculpt Society, I like to change up my routine, by either going for a run or doing a yoga flow with Melissa Wood. You might have seen it on my Instagram, but if Vestry accompanies me to the gym, she always likes to get involved in the workout.

After I work out, I'll jump into the sauna to relax. In today's crazy world, everyone needs some stillness in their life, especially on a weekend evening. I like to use the Calm app occasionally as well. Afterwards, I'll shower and get ready for dinner.

After I shower, I start my evening skincare routine. The first product I use is Dr. Barbara Sturm Cleanser. It's oil-free, and it's a really nice foaming cleanser.
One of my favorite products that I've been using forever is Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum. I have dry skin, and it's a miracle how hydrating it is. I just use three drops and pat it in. The hydration feels good on my face.
This tried-and-true Rodin Olio Lusso oil is next! I keep it in my purse and whenever I feel dry, I'll reapply it all day. I'm always looking for extra layers of moisture or oil. It smells amazing and it gives you a glow. It also freshens you up when you're feeling dry during the day.
Another favorite brand is Summer Fridays. I use the brand's mask and moisturizer on the plane or just as an under-eye cream. It's super, super hydrating. I feel like I can put it on now and finish my drink and it will soak in by the time I'm done. I love the texture and always feel like I'm moisturized a little extra under my eyes.
I would be remiss if I didn't also mention the Barbara Sturm SPF 50, which is essential to my daytime skincare regimen. It doesn't feel like sunscreen, but it's important to wear some type of SPF every day, whether I'm on the beach, on the ski mountain, or if it's just a regular day in New York. I put just a couple of drops, as the last step to my routine. I like to remember that it prevents you from sun damage and wrinkling later in life.

Before I begin making dinner, I like to have a drink as an inspiration for cooking. Then, I’m ready to dive in. My go-to is Pompette, a new and clean elevated spiked seltzer. It’s light and refreshing, especially for a relaxing evening. It also pairs nicely with fresh veggies and fish. It's also hydrating, so I don’t get tipsy. Sometimes, we like to get fancy and mix up some amazing cocktails.
9:00 P.M.
After we clean up dinner, we catch up on some of our shows we like to watch. My fiancé Kevin Love and I are always traveling, so we usually like to binge a few episodes at a time. We've been watching Your Honor, Succession, and Euphoria. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t seen them already.
11:00 P.M.
Sleep is super important to both Kevin and me. We are actually very competitive about who can get better sleep. At 11 p.m., we are in bed with the lights off either listening to a podcast or reading a book, which helps us get in sleepy mode. Lately, I've been loving the podcast, Business Wars.
