Karlie Kloss Brings Her NYC Cool to Topshop's Latest Campaign
Lifting our fashion spirits and easing us back into the swing of things this morning is Topshop, who have entered the New Year with a big Karlie Kloss–shaped bang; the lovely, lithe, cookie-baking supermodel is the high street brand’s new campaign girl. Shot in New York by Tyrone Lebon and styled by Topshop's creative director Kate Phelan, the eagle-eyed amongst you may recall this isn’t Karlie’s debut hookup with the Great British megalith. It was eight whole years ago that she kicked off her career, alongside Jourdan Dunn, in the girls’ first big gig not only for the brand but the fashion world itself.
“She is the ultimate TOPSHOP girl and modern super—a world-renowned fashion figure, businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist who will resonate with our global customers through her many talents, ambitions and passions,” says Kate Phelan. Also—and we know we are stating the obvious here—doesn’t she look downright amazing in the new line of tomboyish tailoring, skimpy jersey dresses and 1950s T-Bird staples? Good enough to get our mice clicking on a certain Topshop.com.
