When I heard that J.W.Anderson was teaming up with Uniqlo for a collection, I had high hopes—it's a pairing that aesthetically makes perfect sense. But when the collection was unveiled, I had a bigger shopping list than even I expected, as these are (truly great) clothes that you can wear day in, day out rather than those recognisable statement items you tend to see in high-street collaborations with designers.

The collection feels British with its cold weather–ready quilting, lots of tartan, Fair Isle sweaters, classic trench coats and back-to-school duffles. On the top of my wish list? A rainbow-striped roll-neck jumper with a matching scarf, as well as a trench coat with tartan cuffs. And the good news is that I won't have to choose only one item—the prices are excellent, with coats ranging between £90 to £140, shirts at £35 and jumpers from £35 to £40.
