Jennifer Lopez Just Brought Back the Cult Bag That Was Popular in High School
As anyone who had to wear school uniforms is familiar with, bags and shoes were your critical chance to show off your style. Certain accessories trends would spread like wildfire, and one of those key pieces at my high school was the Longchamp Le Pliage Nylon Tote ($125). And I'm definitely not alone: Considering the fact that Kate Middleton carried one to her college graduation in 2005, it's safe to say it was a true cult bag in the early 2000s. As a testament to its longevity, the classic bag is still popular to this day.
Cut to 2019, and new versions of the bag are having a major moment with celebrities. Jennifer Lopez was just spotted with an updated iteration, and we're more than a little bit obsessed. She wore Longchamp Le Mini Pliage Cuir Snake Embossed Leather Top Handle Bag ($535), which has a higher price tag than the OG but features a very on-trend croc print. She styled it with a Sally LaPointe sweater and matching silk pants, along with Jimmy Choo heels. Scroll down to shop the bag and revisit the original version.

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
