Scroll ahead for all the beauty philosophy you could ever need.
1. Which makeup look gives you the biggest mood-boost?
Big, red lips!
2. You’ve got a spot. Are you team pop it, or team leave it alone?
Leave it alone.
3. You only have one product to use for the rest of your life—what is it?
A face oil to massage my face.
4. What’s the best piece of beauty advice that you have ever received?
Put some sunscreen on every day of the year.
5. It’s a bad hair day. What do you do?
I attach a flower hair clip to distract.
6. What is your signature fragrance?
Melograno di Santa Maria Novella or natural almond oil.
7. Strong lip or a strong eye?
For me, strong lips.
8. You’re having your nails done, what’s your go-to colour?
A pearly natural colour or classic red.
9. What is your beauty philosophy in a sentence?
Embrace who you are and protect your skin from the sun.
10. What is your favourite lipstick colour?
I always blend several colours, usually a pinky-red these days.
11. What’s your biggest beauty no-no?
I don’t like a smokey eye on me, nor hiding my skin with foundation.
12. Candles, reed diffusers or nothing at all?
Candles for the ambiance.
13. If you could share one piece of beauty advice, what would it be?
Put your lipstick on with your finger for a blurry effect.
14. What beauty product do you recommend to everyone?
Sunscreen.
15. Name one beauty product that is always in your handbag?
The Face Palette from Les Filles en Rouje.
16. Are you team dewy or matte?
Dewy.
17. Your brows, in one word:
Gel.
18. Your worst hairstyle (or hair moment) ever…
I thinned out and tapered my hair to give me a rock look, which is not me at all. I’m more classic.
19. Confession time—how often do you clean your makeup brushes?
Every two weeks.
20. What beauty rule do you always break?
For me, there are no rules when it comes to beauty.
21. Which celebrity’s hair would you love to steal?
Mica Argañaraz’s curly hair of dreams.
22. Which era of beauty inspires you most?
A mix of the '40s, '60s and '90s, which you can see from my Rouje dresses.
23. Eyelash curlers: Love them or hate them?
Love them! I use them every day as I don’t wear mascara.
