Obsessed With J.Crew's Swimsuits? Wait Until You Try Its Bras

If you've been keeping tabs on J.Crew, you're already aware that the preppy-cool retailer has been making some major changes over the past year. First, it launched a new, lower-priced swimwear line, Playa (which is chock-full of bright, playful styles). Now, for the first time, J.Crew is launching intimates, with a collection of five bra styles and three fits of underwear, and surprisingly enough, the brand's swimwear was a major source of inspiration.

J.Crew notes that the team consulted fit experts and took key learnings from its best-selling swimsuits as starting points for the collection. Cotton pieces are made with the same fabric as the brand's ultra-soft tees while lace and mesh bralettes are designed for everyday layering. Also worth noting is the fact that the entire collection retails for under $40, a price point similar to that of sister brand Madewell, which launched intimates around the same time last year.
