Irina Shayk Says *This* is One of Her Major Secrets for Glowing Skin
I don't think it will come as a surprise when I tell you that I spend a lot of time combing the internet for celebrity skincare routines. While I know that celebs get a lot of help from trusty estheticians and injectable experts, I also know that skincare and even their wellness routines play a big part in the quality of their skin. Case in point? Irina Shayk! I've been wondering what her secret is for years because her skin is so flawless and healthy-looking that it quite literally glows in the sunlight. I'm sure she has an arsenal of many incredible skincare secrets and tips, but, there's one in particular she swears by that I wasn't expecting.
According to Shayk, one of the things she swears by to keep her skin youthful and plump is collagen. Obviously, collagen supplements aren't a new thing to hit the market in any way, shape, or form, but Shayk even shared that her particular favorite which is Vida Glow's Marine Collagen (her flavor preference is also blueberry). In true, "I'll have what she's having" fashion, I ordered a few for myself and am excited to give this formula go. I've had success with other collagen powders.
While this brand offers marine collagen sustainably sourced from fish skin, I've been taking a bovine collagen supplement that has helped me in more ways than one. Ingesting collagen can help strengthen your nails and hair, while plumping fine lines and giving your skin new life and vitality. I can say this is definitely true having taken a collagen supplement consistently for around three months now. I was really surprised by the results and am definitely open to trying other formulas to see how they compare. Vida Glow's formula is designed to do the same, it offers increased skin suppleness, it smooths fine lines, and works on a cellular level to promote optimal skin function.
If Shayk loves it and it will give my skin an otherworldly glow like hers, I'm in! You can shop Shayk's favorite flavor below.
More Products That Give You a Glow
While this mineral SPF might be a bit too glowy for some, it definitely adds a warm and radiance that is, IMO, totally unrivaled.
This hydrating primer reduces redness and contains glow-boosting, antioxidant-rich oils like rosehip seed and sea buckthorn.
This is one of my favorite illuminators because it hydrates, brightens, and gives your skin such a healthy, dewy look without being too sparkly.
Glowing skin definitely starts from within per your diet and wellness routine, but skincare is also a key aspect. This vitamin C from IS Clinical offers such an instant glow, it's almost scary!
Okay, these drops are a serious splurge, but celebs like Nina Dobrev and Hailey Bieber swear by them. You can use it over makeup, under it, or you can mix a few drops with your foundation to boost your radiance instantly.
Laneige offers this lightweight, hydrating serum with diamond mineral powder and a ceramide hydration gel. It gives skin a smooth glow without making it greasy so it's great for even oilier skin types.
This essence-toner hybrid contains a triple-action formulation for multi-level exfoliation to clear acne and provide extra hydration, all while giving the skin a nice glow.
