It may sound simple, but take care of your clothes. A stunning outfit can only be seen for its glory when it is clean, stainless, and wrinkle free. Investing in a steamer (and using it) is an easy way to assure every item you wear looks refined and well kept. Remember that the dry cleaner is your closet’s best friend, not your dreaded errand. I use my dry cleaner for beautiful silk shirts, cashmere, and sometimes my favorite basic pieces to keep them in the best shape I can. When washing things at home, choose to air-dry over using a machine dryer to help keep things in their best condition; the dryer is really hard on clothing. To me, being polished and having a polished look always boil down to the little details (just like having a nice manicure). It is all about choosing to take that extra step for your look when getting dressed.
