The Trick for Finding the Perfect Bra Every Time
You've probably heard it time and time again: Most women are wearing the wrong bra size and don't even know it. And while you may have gone in to get measured by a professional or taken an online quiz to determine what size you should be wearing, there's one simple trick you should keep in mind to find the perfect fit when you're bra shopping—whatever your size.
While on the subject of shopping for bras at Who What Wear HQ, we began trading our own tips and tricks for finding the perfect fit. Our community manager Carson Olivares dropped some knowledge—and her advice is a total game changer. She said that when you're first buying a bra, it should fit most comfortably on the loosest hook (most bras have three that gradually make the band tighter). As we wear bras in, they eventually stretch out, especially as they undergo multiple washes. As they stretch, we can tighten the band by adjusting to a closer hook. Too often women try on bras thinking they should be hooking the band on the tightest option—meaning they're leaving no room for adjustment once the bra begins to stretch.
So keep this in mind the next time you go bra shopping, and you'll likely find that your bras "wear out" or "lose shape" at a slower rate. Now that you know the trick for determining your perfect fit, head below to shop some of our favorite bras on the market right now.
