In 2017, one of the biggest trends was printed kimonos worn over a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. Zara threw everything it had into this trend, as it seemed like there was a new kimono every single week. If you bought one (or two—we never judge) kimonos in 2017, this year we think you'll be into the vintage-look floral tea dresses that are set to sweep the high street. Starting with the perfect green dress that just landed on ASOS.

If we had to say one print that ruled in 2017, it would have to be gingham. Polka dots have been slowly taking over, however, and the high street will be inundated with spots this spring.
Basket Bags > Shell Jewellery

If you wore a basket bag away from the beach in 2017, then we think you'll be into this new beachy accessory trend: shell jewellery. Pukka shells are no longer just for surfers, as the likes of Isabel Marant and Prada have created beautiful gold and silver shells you'll want to wear all year long.
Slogan T-Shirts > Loud Logos

You can't talk about key items from 2017 without mentioning the slogan T-shirt, as we all took to wearing our feelings on our chests last year. If you bought a Ganni tee or a feminist slogan top, then we think the 2018 trend for you is loud logos. Fendi, Gucci, Versace, Balenciaga and more are leading this one—and the below colourful silk scarf is high up on our lists.
Head-to-Toe Red > Ice Cream Pastels

The reigning colour of 2017 was red (worn head-to-toe), and if you're up for experimenting with how you wear colour, the 2018 trend for you is pastels.
