30 Things I've Bookmarked for My Shopping Escapades This Week
Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.
The week of Thanksgiving always feels like a race to shop the best of the best, and given that I spend hours online bookmarking my favorite pieces, I'd say I'm heavily prepared. This year, I'm only considering investment pieces that will stand the test of time. (I'm looking at you, diamond earrings.) I came to this conclusion after a night-long closet clean-out in which I discovered that everything I wanted to donate was ultra trendy and some pieces—I hate to admit this—still had tags.
To avoid this in the future, I'm refining my shopping list and buying pieces I know will last, even if that means spending a bit more than I anticipated. Below, I've curated a list of 30 must-haves—everything from the beauty picks I absolutely need to classic denim silhouettes that I'll never want to get rid of. Keep reading to see what I have my eye on.
These earrings are at the top of my wish list this season.
I've had this in my shopping cart for weeks now—I think it's finally time to purchase.
These will be a conversation starter at any holiday dinner.
Sherpa is everything this season, but what I love about this jacket is that it's reversible, so you get double the wear out of it. Plus, the CK logo is giving '90s vibes, and I'm very much here for it.
A black coat will never end up in the donation pile, and this holiday season, I'm moving this one to the top of my list.
I can wear these classic black jeans with anything this season.
Speaking of pieces that will last longer than one season, this wool skirt can be worn with so many tops.
I also tossed any unclean deodorants out the window (figuratively speaking) and want to give this option a try.
I just became a liquid-blush convert, and I'm looking forward to trying this version.
You can't go wrong with a clear lip oil for the dry winter months.
I'm currently four months postpartum, which means my hair is falling out significantly. I'm looking forward to grabbing this set to help with my current situation.
I love a good scalloped edge, especially on a pair of sweet socks like these.
Fuzzy and cozy. I'll be gifting these to myself and my loved ones this season.
Call me biased, but I'm definitely not missing out on this It shoe.
Fun fact: I just purchased this perfume, and it smells divine.
I live in Los Angeles, so I can probably only wear this five times this year, but it's worth it.
This has been on my wish list for some time now, and I'm excited to finally try it.
This reminds me of a belt I was in love with when I was a pre-teen listening to a ton of pop-punk music, so yes, I will be purchasing.
As a mom of two, there's nothing I need more than a mini backpack to keep essentials in, and this sustainable option is top of mind for me.
This is perfect for the holidays when I'll be wearing more makeup than usual.
I've been spotting these a ton recently, and I need to pick up a pair.
A loafer that defies the seasons and can be worn all year round? Yes, please.
Our editorial director, Lauren Eggertsen, shared these on Slack a while back, and I haven't stopped thinking about them since.
Although the price is steep, these are worth it for any trip you have planned to a cold-weather destination (or if you live in one).
Nayiri is Who What Wear's senior fashion editor for branded content and based in her hometown, Los Angeles. It all began in 2014 when she landed an internship at the company and never looked back. While she does love writing her fair share of fashion stories, her heart really belongs in the brainstorm room, where she has fun strategizing different ways to create content with our fashion partners so that you engage with the brands you know and love. Her style tends to be more classic (she loves a good black-and-white look with gold accessories), and white pumps are kind of her thing. If she had to pick one person's wardrobe to raid, it would be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's, and she also has a major obsession with interior design. She's a mom to a 1-year-old baby girl named Sophie, and she fully plans on training her to spot fashion trends by the time she's 10. That's all!
