These 5 Chic Outfits Are About to Put You in the Holiday Spirit

My favorite part of the holidays is the moment the city, no matter which one I'm in, comes to life. There's a cheerful energy in the air, the streets light up, and all of the window displays sparkle. While the season may look a little—okay fine, a lot—different this year, I, for one, will still be dressing up in festive attire for even the smallest of celebrations.

I always find the easiest way to do so is by adding special jewelry to my outfits that makes them feel elevated and fun. I've even been known to plan an entire outfit around the color of my gemstones or a specific necklace. There's one jewelry collection that stands out to me this year for its bold hues and sophisticated shapes, and that's Pomellato. All of the pieces from the brand make a statement, look elegant, and turn simple outfits into extraordinary looks. These are the five I already plan to try out for the holidays, all styled around my favorite Pomellato jewelry.

The dreamy colors of these rings instantly inspired this head-to-toe jewel-tone outfit. I love playing into this color palette for the holidays because it feels seasonally appropriate and yet a little unexpected. The rings pull everything together, whether worn on separate fingers or stacked (my personal preference). Personally, I'd add even more—if the holidays aren't the time to go big or go home, I don't know when is.

For an intimate celebratory dinner with my few closest girlfriends, I love the idea of elevating a look with a few shimmery details. As if the green gemstones weren't striking enough, the diamonds on these earrings really bring the sparkle. But I wouldn't stop at just the earrings—they pop even more when paired with shoes and a top that feature embellishments, too.

The holidays are the perfect time to rethink how you style your favorite LBD. I'm currently gravitating toward wrap dresses because they're polished but comfy enough to sit in for long periods of time. To spice up my favorite ones, it's all about letting the accessories take center stage, starting with my jewelry. Expect to receive plenty of compliments while wearing this unique multi-stone ring with those white-topaz earrings and gold-chain necklace. I'm not opposed to adding some fun footwear and hair accessories either.

Instead of a sparkly dress on NYE this year, I'm opting for something a little simpler and more practical: a silky minidress paired over a fitted turtleneck. There won't be any sequins in sight, so I love that this necklace-and-earrings pairing really brings the bling. The lariat style is definitely a talking piece, so steer clear if you're not a fan of compliments.

Chain links are a huge trend this season, so I'm leaning in with all of my accessories, from jewelry to footwear. I love this chunky gold necklace styled over a turtleneck or mock-neck top. I'd honestly wear it every single day, holiday season or not, but a festive top and leather suiting separates (another favorite fall/winter trend) aren't necessarily my go-to WFH uniform.
