Well Done, H&M—I Want Everything From Your New Summer Drop

I love a good bit of minimalism in the summer. Don't get me wrong. I'm not averse to bright colours, but there's something so chic about wearing muted tones in the heat. I don't have many trips planned this year yet, but I want to imagine I'll be on the beaches of Ibiza or the Cote d'Azur, and H&M's new season summer collection is going to help me do just that. The sun seems to be surfacing (finally), so I can feel myself shifting towards thinking about light layers and floaty dresses for when summer arrives. Of course, in this edit I've found a selection of pieces that can be worn all year round if you layer them right, and some great staple pieces that you'll find me in whatever the weather.
From classic blazers to elevated linen pieces, crochet dresses to the perfect summer-ready wide-leg trousers, H&M always seems to figure out exactly what I want to wear for the season ahead. The edit below is full of elevated pieces your friends will never believe aren't designer. My personal favourites? I'll be wearing the beige suit to work on repeat, and I love the idea of the crinkled top worn with loose jeans. I already own the linen shirt in a couple of colours too, and I can confirm it's an essential summer wardrobe piece—for under £20. Bravo, H&M, you've done it again.

Always wearing white or black linen trousers? Try adding a fun stripe style into the mix.
