H&M's New Autumn Collection Looks So Expensive—31 Buys That Will Sell Out First

When it comes to affordable high street destinations, it's impossible to overlook H&M. The brand is known for its classic basics as well as trend-led items, which, season after season, manage to capture the attention of influencers, editors and fashion devotees all over the world.

Right now is no different, as the brand has recently released its autumn edit—and it's genuinely sent our editors into a frenzy with how good it is. Between the expensive-looking tailoring, wool coats that could easily pass for designer styles and practical everyday knitwear that will elevate your existing wardrobes well into the depths of colder weather, the collection covers everything you need for the perfect autumn capsule.

While the brand's just-in section can often be overwhelming, filled with an abundance of stock regularly, I've done the hard work by scrolling through all of the new product for you. Working as an editor at Who What Wear makes me somewhat of an expert at pinpointing the very best items in the high street collections, and I have a particular talent for spotting which styles will sell out first (even if I do say so myself). After all, myself and my fellow editors have all learnt the hard way before when hesitating on some of H&M's new-in key buys (especially their gorgeous premium collection pieces that tend to fly), only to be disappointed by a total sell out when returning to make our purchases.

From blazers to cardigans, trousers to shirts, keep scrolling for my bumper edit of the 27 expensive-looking H&M items I'm loving for right now, autumn, and beyond.

Her passion and natural talent for writing and styling meant she swiftly rose through the ranks to become the title's fashion news and commercial content editor, with a stint as InStyle.co.uk’s fashion and beauty writer along the way. She later served as Look’s acting Editor in Chief, overseeing both print and digital, before embarking on a successful freelance career, working with Grazia, The Pool, and Marie Claire amongst others.

Maxine is based remotely from her countryside home near Edinburgh where she spends her downtime renovating her house, walking her dogs, hosting friends and trying to master the art of making Old Fashioned cocktails.
