Ever since we learned Phoebe Philo was leaving Céline, we've been waiting with bated breath to find out who would replace her. Now we finally have an answer. Business of Fashion reports that none other than Hedi Slimane will join the venerable brand as artistic, creative, and image director.

Per BOF, the Saint Laurent alum will show his first Céline collection in September during Paris Fashion Week, which means it will officially be the hottest ticket in town. LVMH Chairman and Chief Executive Bernard Arnault explained the decision in a statement: "I am particularly happy that Hedi is back within the LVMH Group and taking the reins of our Céline maison. He is one of the most talented designers of our time. I have been a great admirer of his work since we collaborated on Dior Homme, which he launched to global critical acclaim in the 2000s. His arrival at Céline reinforces the great ambitions that LVMH has for this maison." We can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
