This Is Officially the Most Googled Halloween Costume of 2017
T-minus 11 days until Halloween. And if you're among the few who have yet to piece together a costume, don't fret just yet. We have a seriously chic selection of Halloween attire inspiration, from the most pinned costume on Pinterest to the easiest last-minute looks you can put together with a pair of jeans. And while all of these ideas are sure to make people stop and stare (either out of fear or out of style envy), it seems there is one particular costume that is officially the most Googled.
According to a report released by Google, the most searched-for Halloween costume this year is—drumroll please—Wonder Woman. A state-by-state breakdown reveals that there was a significant spike in searches related to this comic book heroine. So as the site puts it, "There's a frighteningly high chance you will see a Wonder Woman costume on Halloween this year." Ranking second on the list is Harley Quinn, with a clown, a unicorn, and a rabbit rounding out the top five, respectively.
So if you were still unsure about what to dress up as this year, consider transforming into Wonder Woman for the night. It's a costume we guarantee everyone will recognize.
