It's hard to think of a designer brand that produces quite as many It items as Gucci. Since re-rising to popularity a few years ago, it's been host to one wildly popular shoe after another, starting with those furry Princetown mules. The latest potential It shoe also falls into the "ugly" camp, and the sandals are already selling out at several retailers. The shoes in question are from the brand's pre-fall collection, and we've seen them being referred to as both the Marmont and the Glossy sandals.

The fisherman sandals are made of rubber and feature the signature double G logo and rhinestone embellishments. They're currently available in black, pale pink, and white, and they're selling out on Barneys, Nordstrom, and Matches. We're guessing that part of the allure is that they're akin to those rubber jellies we all wore in the '90s, so nostalgia may indeed be a factor.

Shop Gucci's new "ugly" sandals below, as well as a few more Gucci sandal options (in case they aren't your cup of tea).
